Start Spreadin' the News
Back in March of last year, I talked about a possible trip to New York. That never materialized, but lo and behold, we're off to NYC next weekend for a whirlwind, uh, weekend. We'll do some touristy things -- Times Square, Central Park, museums, maybe Ground Zero -- but will mostly just explore and hang out with my old friend JT. Photos possible.The New Pornographers were excellent on New Year's Eve. Had very little to drink, and it was nice to not wake up hungover, a la last time.
By the way, the photo here has nothing to do with anything, but I post it just so my wife will continue to think I'm obsessed with Anchorman.

Congratulations on the NYC visit. Where are you staying? Out in Queens, or somewhere in the heart of it?
Rumor has it you'll be traveling a lot this year, but I do hope you make it to the West Coast sometime soon. Preferably during baseball season, of course. I recommend May/June or September/October.

Well, I can't say an SF trip is in the cards, though maybe by September I'd have the opportunity. Appreciate the invite, of course, and there's a seat at Wrigley with your name on it if you make it out this way.
We're staying near Greenwich Village, but will see Mr. Queens Punt King during our stay.
