Born to Follow

So, a number of my friends have blogs, and I thought, "If those idiots can do it..." Actually, that's not what I thought at all. They're not idiots. But I'm curious about the whole blogging thing, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Problem is, I wonder if I'll ever have anything to say that's worth reading. I'll likely post infrequently and will include freelance work when/if appropriate. Or even if not. A little self-promotion is good, right? I welcome any comments, either about what I write here or any of my freelance work that I've posted.

To start, let me say that while this blog is named after one of our cats, I'm not one of those freaky cat people. You know the type....12 cats, feces-infested home, etc. (Watch Animal Precinct for visual examples.) I just couldn't think of a better name at the time. Which might portend poor things for this blog's eventual content... (In my meager defense, I did try a couple of other names, but they were taken.)

Anyway, I'll start with this. It's an article I wrote on Columbus' Moviola. I've been friends with one of the guys in the band for about 16 years, except for that approximately two-year period when he wouldn't speak to me, perhaps justifiably, because I almost wrecked his car. With him in it. But that's a story for another day.
